SMALL ENSEMBLES.
a small ensemble is a group of people, usually from about 2 to 10, who create music together. There are many types of small ensembles: jazz, string, acapella, brass and pop. I will be talking about pop.
a pop ensemble will usualyy cater to people who enjoy the basic popular music of the time. it will generally include at least one vocalist, a guitarist, a bass guitarist, a drummer and a keyboard player. a pop groups music is very traditional and usually all sound somewhat the same.
there are many well known modern pop groups: maroon 5, imagine dragons, little mix, the jonas brothers. One of the most popular groups that reigned the world of pop culture from about 2010 to 2015, was one direction.
