We took around the whole lesson to decide, but I'm pretty sure we are going to play under pressure by queen and David bowie for our cover song. Kirra and I are going to sing, with 2 people on basses, 2 on electric guitar and i think ezra is going to play drums.
Great news, corona has made sure that all fun is spoiled! we can now only have 1 singer or woodwind instrument :( so, ! get to sing a duet by myself and we are going to have to alter some parts of the song,,,,, but that's ok. I'm sure we will figure it out :/
Today we did our first run through! it was a little bit choppy, firstly because we havent quite figured out our structure, but also i had some problems warming up to the group and singing loudly and confidently (how cute). I'm going to go home and have a better practice of the song, and hopefully next time will be better!

Although i was out of school this week, the others arranged the proper structure of our arrangement. I don't have a lot. tooffer for this weeks prac because i wasn't physically there, but I'm excited to get stuck into it next week!
This week we finalised our preformance and i managed to be a bit louder and more confident when we were practicing, the mic might have helped it a bit. Everyone has pretty much perfected their parts now, and I'm pretty sure we will we ready for next weeks recording lesson!
Today we recorded our under pressure cover! our first take we weren't very enthusiastic, so we did a few more and in the end i think we had a fairly good take! I still think on a personal note I probably could have done better and tried to be more confident etc. but we can't all be perfect lol. This was a really fun project and I learned a lot!
